         High purity 99.5% Propylene Glycol PG for Resin Material  CAS 57-55-6

Propylene glycol is an organic compound, chemical formula C3H8O2, miscible with water, ethanol and a variety of organic solvents. Normal for colorless viscous liquid, almost tasteless, smell slightly sweet. Propylene glycol can be used as a raw material for unsaturated polyester resins, in cosmetics, toothpaste and soaps with glycerin or sorbitol as a wetting agent. It is used in hair colorants for dampening, smoothing, antifreeze, cellophane, plasticizer and pharmaceutical industry


Application:

Propylene glycol is an organic compound with chemical formula C3H8O2. It is miscible with water, ethanol and many organic solvents. Normally, it is a colorless viscous liquid, almost tasteless and slightly sweet. Propylene glycol can be used as a raw material in unsaturated polyester resins and as a wetting agent with glycerin or sorbitol in cosmetics, toothpaste and soaps. It is used in hair colorants as a moisture-regulating and smoothing agent, as an antifreeze, as well as in cellophane, plasticizer and pharmaceutical industry.
