1, 4-dichlorobenzene, also known as o-nitro-1, 4-dichlorobenzene, is harmful when inhaled, ingested or absorbed through the skin. It can irritate the eyes, skin, mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. After absorption, methemoglobin can form in the body and cause cyanosis. This product is flammable and irritating.
1. Used for synthesizing bright red base GG, active light yellow and other dyes, used as pesticide intermediates, fumigation insecticides, fabric mothproofing agents, and also used in organic synthesis.
