Product Description

Aniline, also known as aniline, is an organic compound with a chemical formula of C6H7N. It is a colorless oily liquid that dissolves when heated to 370°C. It is slightly soluble in water and easily soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether.
Aniline is one of the most important amines. It is mainly used in the manufacture of dyes, drugs, resins, and can also be used as an accelerator for rubber modification. It is also available as a black dye by itself. Its model orange can be used as an indicator for acid-base titration.

Aniline is an important intermediate. The more important products produced by aniline were 300. There are about 80 aniline manufacturers in the world, with an annual total production capacity of more than 2.7 million t/a and an output of about 2.3 million t. The main consumption field is MDI, in 2000, its consumption accounted for about 84% of the total consumption of aniline. Aniline is mainly consumed in MDI, dye industry, rubber additives, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and organic intermediates.

Other uses include rubber processing chemicals (9%), herbicides (2%), and dyes and pigments (2%).As additives to rubber, aniline derivatives such as phenylenediamines and diphenylamine, are antioxidants. Illustrative of the drugs prepared from aniline is paracetamol (acetaminophen, Tylenol). The principal use of aniline in the dye industry is as a precursor to indigo, the blue of blue jeans.
