Product Description

Thiourea is a compound formed after the oxygen in urea is replaced by sulfur, belonging to the thiimide (RC(S)NR2, R is a hydrocarbon group). Due to differences in electronegativity, thiourea and urea have very different properties despite similar structures. Thiourea is widely used in organic synthesis.

In addition, thiourea also refers to a class of organic compounds with the general formula (R1R2N)(R3R4N)C=S, which is a derivative of simple thiourea hydrogen replaced by a hydrocarbon group.

Product Application

1.It is used to synthesize drugs such as sulfathiazole, methionine and fat-pig slices.

2.Used as raw material of dyestuff and dyeing auxiliaries, resin and press-plastic powder.

3.It can also be used as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber, a flotation agent for metal minerals, a catalyst for making phthalic anhydride and fumaric acid, and as a metal corrosion inhibitor.

4.In photographic materials, can be used as developer and toner.

5.It can also be used in electroplating industry.
Thiourea is also used in diazo photosensitive paper, synthetic resin coatings, anion exchange resins, germination accelerator, fungicides and many other aspects.

6.Thiourea is also used as a fertilizer.
Used in the manufacture of drugs, dyes, resins, plastic powder, rubber vulcanization accelerator, metal mineral flotation agent and other raw materials.
