Hydrogen fluoride, is an inorganic compound, chemical formula HF, under normal conditions is a colorless, pungent smell of toxic gas, with very strong hygroscopic, contact with air that produces white smoke, easily soluble in water, can be infinite miscible with water to form hydrofluoric acid. Hydrogen fluoride molecules have hydrogen bonds and can exhibit some anomalous properties, such as a much higher boiling point than other hydrogen halides. Hydrogen fluoride is very chemically reactive and can react with many compounds, hydrogen fluoride as a solute in water is a weak acid, and pure hydrogen fluoride is a strong acid.
